Welcome
Especially if you are new to St Mark’s.
- The Get Connected card is the easiest way to tell us you’re having a look, if you’re wondering whether or how to get involved.
- The next Alpha Course to investigate the heart of the Christian faith will be starting in October.
- The Intro Course on three Monday evenings in November is a brief introduction to our vision and values.
Our vision is to grow:
- Deeper with God
- Closer to one another
- Further out in society
Painting a picture
Since the beginning of this year we have been exploring the future through a process ‘painting a picture’ of the next few years ahead:
Planting fresh churches? Developing new initiatives? Reaching more groups in the community? Building new resources?
Impacting further abroad? Equipping new people and ministries? Starting new mission projects? Supporting members at home and in the workplace?
Yes to all of these! Over the summer you can find out more and get involved as the picture develops and grows. In addition over these months:
- The ‘Summer of Fun’ at St Mark’s – a cleared programme during the warm weather to meet up, spend time together over barbeques, and enjoy deepening relationships with new friends.
- ‘Summer Nights’ - our popular four Tuesday evenings in August for food, worship and teaching, open to everybody.
- We are a ‘New Wine’ church - the number of us enjoying the summer conference has been growing. This year ‘Kingdom Come’ is the week 26 July – 1 August and there are loads of opportunities to be ‘on the team’.
We would love you to be a part of our summer together and we look forward to sharing it with you.
With love, Paul and Christine Perkin
