A Concert for Haiti
Thursday 11 March from 7pm in St Mark's Church. Invite friends and family and raise lots of money for the people of Haiti. An all-star big band, breakdancing act and children’s choir will provide the entertainment along with our own St Mark's house band. We will have some fantastic prizes to auction, and as well as complimentary canapes there will be a bar taking your donations. Tickets at £10 each can be bought from www.stmarks-battersea.org.uk/Haiti
Welcome Tea for parents and carers of under 2s
Sunday, 14 March from 10.40-11.10am in the ground floor rooms. Join us between the morning services for an informal time of chats, coffee and cake. Great opportunity to welcome newcomers to parenthood and to St Mark's!
First Time Parents
We are putting on two Sunday lunches - 21 March and 25 April - for all those who are either about to have their first child, or are in their first year of parenthood.
A number of you have said you would really value getting together with other ‘first timers’ and have an opportunity to talk through some of the issues affecting you as a couple as you enter into this wonderful but demanding new phase of your lives.
The lunch will be held in the Durie Hall 12.30-2.30pm. Do come and get to know other parents and join in the discussions afterwards. Babies welcome!

Faith in the Family
We’re running some monthly informal seminars to inspire you with fresh ideas for nurturing your family’s faith life. We’ll share great resources and give ideas on issues like prayer, family devotion times, what kids learn in schools, explaining other faiths... and much more.
To make it as easy as possible, they’ll run between the All-age services in February, March and April. There’ll be childcare for 0-11s, although babies are welcome to stay in and there’ll also be plenty of coffee and cake for parents!
For more information see the Faith in the Family page.
