Our Community

Community outreach is right at the heart of the vision of St Mark's to go further out into society and as such there is a wide range of areas where St Mark's is reaching out into the local community.

These range from activities for carers and toddlers (Rise & Shine); children (Jumpstart!); providing debt counselling to those who are in need (CAP); and working in Wandsworth prison and providing resettlement assistance for Ex-offenders.

We are also passionate about reaching out further afield and have a number of Mission Partners working in the UK and overseas ministering God’s love.

The Global Action group aims to help more people be educated and energized about issues of international injustice (poverty, trade injustice, climate change, slavery etc.) The UK Action group is for those with a concern to campaign and contribute in active citizenship on UK national issues.

We also have a thriving sports ministry and there are opportunities to get involved in our two football teams and touch rugby.
