Over the past 15 years the St Mark's pastoral team have been developing a directory of pastoral resources. We are now publishing these on the website in order for all members of the church to be able to easily access the information.
The majority of the agencies and individuals listed work within a Christian framework. Please note that whilst every care is taken in checking the integrity of the resources, we recommend that you also assess them for yourself.
We would welcome feedback on any of the resources advertised and it would be helpful to receive any personal recommendations.
For any additional advice or information please email Sue Colman ().
We are regularly updating these pages. Please do visit again.
Listed below are a number of links to websites you may find of interest, whether looking for help for yourself, for resources for others or for training and conference opportunities.

Continuing the Journey is a biennial conference which forms an open, temporary community and provides a safe place to explore tensions at the interface between church and world, psychology and theology, nature and grace. We attract participants from the caring professions in both church and community who appreciate the space to reflect on and integrate their spirituality with therapeutic practice.

From early days of the Church people have drawn apart to spend time with God. Conscious of the great benefits which have been found through this experience men and women have formed groups within their own denominations to make this experience more widely known and available. These groups within Britain came together to form the Retreat Association, to foster and develop the rich and diverse expression of Christian spirituality.

The vision of Mind and Soul is:
to see Local Churches that understand mental distress and can support and help those who suffer from it. This will be by increasing awareness, reducing stigma and showing the love of Jesus.
to see Mental Health Services that understand the key contribution that Christianity can make: in recovery, in healing and in understanding the human soul.
to support Innovative Projects and Initiatives that care for peoples' minds AND souls in helpful and relevant ways.
to see Every Part of the Country involved, with a network of supportive churches and skilled professionals in every locality.
