| Services offered: Across our staff team we have experience of supporting/serving people with: Mobility needs, including people who are a little unsteady on their feet and those using wheelchairs. Learning disabilities, including people with profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as people with moderate learning disabilities. Hearing impairments. Visual impairments. Mental health needs. Specific dietary needs, including people with medical or religious dietary needs, as well as exclusions in terms of ingredients or consistencies. Areas of particular interest and expertise? A prayer and counselling ministry has always been part of the Whitchester ethos. Guests are welcome to join with the staff in the relaxed times of worship in the chapel, but there is no pressure! The first floor library is well catalogued and has a wide range of Christian books which you may borrow during your stay. For personal reflection, a Prayer Walk has been created within the adjoining woodland. The beauty and peacefulness of the surroundings and the opportunity to relax throughout the day within the lounge, conservatory or in the landscaped gardens offer an added dimension to your retreat or holiday experience. |
