| Services offered: The website has grown out of the need to have contact between all the bereavement services across London. It acts as a focal point for communication between professionals who care for bereaved people. Bereavement Forum London meets bi-monthly and helps bereavement services in London to share good practice. We aim to inform about the many kinds of service and support that are offerred to bereaved people in London. We also aim to refer enquiries on to other agencies if we are not able to help. We are also keen to promote the development of high standards in bereavement care and to this end we are interested in developments in this field, academic research and training. We are proud to have assisted in the development of the Standards for Bereavement Care and continue to host these on the website. |
