Joining a pastorate and a small group are two of the best ways to get involved in St Mark's. We encourage every member of the church to find a pastorate and a small group where they feel involved, supported and accountable. Pastorates are made up of 16-30 people - small enough to get to know everybody, big enough for teaching and developing your gifts. Small groups are made up of 6-12 people and are great for close friendships and personal support.
Pastorates meet once a month, usually in a home, to share a meal, worship, pray, learn and have fun. Newcomers are warmly welcomed, and through the pastorates are helped to join one of the 2 or 3 small groups that make up a pastorate.
Our pastorates are led by members of the congregation and each pastorate has its own style and mixture of people.
