Lisa Marqua
Lisa hails from Cape Town, South Africa. After a time with Hope Prison Ministry in Cape Town pastoring juvenile offenders, and a sabbatical period that has included time with Iris Ministries in Mozambique, from September 2009 she has been a teacher’s assistant in the Upper Primary Level at the International Christian Quality Music School in Hong Kong, teaching English.
Lisa is working alongside the teachers to create the best learning atmosphere for the children, organizing creative games and activities to promote interest in English and confidence in speaking, reading and writing the language; also training pupils to run a creative English broadcasting programme during their lunch break. Biblical pastoral care is core to the ethos of the school.
