New ID
New ID is a 6 week course for anyone struggling with Compulsive Eating, Anorexia or Bulimia bringing the message, in a safe and private environment, that complete freedom is possible.
Each evening includes teaching, testimonies, discussion and prayer with encouraging steps towards finding freedom. New ID was founded by Kim Hemsley, who struggled with an eating disorder for 10 years and is now completely free. Watch a 3 minute promo of New ID at www.newid.info
The weekly topics are:
- Week 1: What are eating disorders and what is freedom?
- Week 2: Addictions and our identity in Christ
- Week 3: Dealing with emotional issues
- Week 4: Depression and loneliness
- Week 5: Nutrition and the mind
- Week 6: Moving on
When: Autumn 2012, dates tbc.
What time: 7.00 - 9.00 pm
Where: Church Crypt, St Mark's Battersea Rise, London SW11 1EJ
Cost: £10 per person to be paid in cash or by cheque on the door at the first evening. Cheques made payable to St Mark's Church.
