24 May: Family TIme Parenting Children Week 2
Thursdays 17, 24, 31 May and 14, 21 and 28 June from 10-11.15am in the ground floor rooms.
This course helps parents to take time out to reflect and gain inspiration from others, as well as finding a fresh vision for their family. Our desire is that everyone who does the course discovers how to raise their families confidently and in an atmosphere of fun. Do come and join us!
Please see the Parenting Children page for more information. Limited creche places are available. E-mail to reserve a place (please specify whether a creche place is required).
27 May: St Mark's All Together for Pentecost
From 10am for coffee and cake in the hall, followed by 10.30am service in the church and then lunch.
What better way to celebrate Pentecost than celebrating together as a church family?
Join us at 10am with coffee and cake in the Durie Hall. At 10.30am we will worship, pray and hear from God’s Word together as a church family, before enjoying sausages in buns after the service (suggested contribution £1 per sausage, but salad and fruit will also be provided!). (Please note that there will be no services at 9.30am or 11.15am on this Sunday.)
There will be a service at 6pm as normal, however those who usually attend the evening service are warmly invited to the All Together Service - a great opportunity to build community with, and to be encouraged by, those who might be just that little bit further on in their faith/life journey, and to invest in the younger members of our fellowship (around 25% of St Mark’s fellowship is aged under 18)!

14 June: This is our Family
8pm in the Durie Hall.
Parenting is tough, and so often we don’t have time to stop and think about how things are going. Families are our most important places of safety, love and fun – is your home a place where everyone is thriving?
This Parenting Children evening event is your chance to take stock, spot things you need to address and make a start on moving your family forwards. We’ll be helping you identify your key family values – encouraging you to model and then pass on these values to your children.
This is a one-off evening event, but also showcases some material from the Family Time: Parenting Children course we’ll be running in the Autumn.
If you’re just starting out or you’ve been parenting for a while, please email to register for a place.
